I know I haven't posted recently, sorry, so sorry. That's partly because I've been so busy with homework, but moreso because I've not had anything worth writing about. However, today in ECS (Education Core Studies) we had a guest speaker, Dr. Alec Couros, who discussed technology's role in society. He gave one of the best lectures I have ever sat through, incredibly entertaining! He put a lot of emphasis on establishing our roles on the Internet - making yourself visible to the world, and doing something positive (instead of just bashing YouTube videos). And, well, that's what prompted me to post another blog entry.
I'm also considering joining Twitter after Dr. Couros' in-depth talk about its' benefits. It was really nice hearing someone talk about the postives of modern-day technology, not just the drawbacks (though there are many). As he put it, be responsible, be smart, and keep it private.
Not much else is new, but I wanted to share that with everyone. If I do get a Twitter account, I'll be sure to post a link here. And I promise to try a little bit harder to post more often, but yeah... No guarantees.
